Bakerella Inspired Me!
I have had more fun today making Cake Pops for our Stake Leadership Relief Society Meeting. I am sure it is far more work than should be gone to but it was so much fun and they turned out so cute I couldn't stop myself. I used red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting and I HOPE that they are going to be delicious. Yes, I should lose 25 pounds today because I cooked yummy stuff all day and didn't eat one cake pop! Wish it worked that way. Here they are chillin' in the freezer Now they are on the counter waiting for a chocolate bath!
There is the cup I used on my candle warmer keeping the chocolate the perfect temp for dipping!
I started letting them dry on my cooking racks which I had to stack three deep so they would hold them steady.
I finally went dumpster diving in my garage and found some styro-foam in a box that stood them up much better.
Wow, spring is really blooming! Look at those cute flowers! Can't wait to put them together with the rest of the things we have planned! What a fun and messy day, did I mention I made bread too! Whew, sometimes it's hard fitting in all the things you love to do!
Now off to church they go!

One of my most favorite people in the Stake is a young adult who is also a RS President. She reads my blog occassionally and just as I was about to post it on Friday I remembered her so this is going out a couple of days after the day of fun and I can no longer say I haven't eaten any. They were SPECTACULAR! Be still my heart...and stomach.
Oh MY HECK Bonnie... Those look SOO CUTE and YUMMY!! (much yummier than BROCCOLI!!! ;) You are VERY talented... (and patient!)
ReplyDeleteUhh...please pass the creativity!! They WERE spectacular! And the cute little bees added so much to them :) Cute idea to end a really great meeting. Thanks!
